In August 2021, our Zion and St. John’s Fellowship Committee traveled to Branson, Missouri this summer with the highlight event being the performance of “Jesus” at Sight & Sound Theatres.

This was a five-day, four-night trip included an evening and overnight stay in downtown St. Louis by the Arch, four total shows in Branson, an afternoon of shopping at Branson Landing, admission to the Branson Auto and Farm Museum, lunch at the famous Lambert’s “Throwed Roll” Café, and a Sunday morning WELS Church Service.

DAY ONE - Wednesday, August 4
Depart Kingston via Charter Badger Bus at 7: 00 a.m.
Arrive in Saint Louis at the Drury Plaza Hotel by the Arch at approximately 4:00 p.m.
“Kickback” with complimentary drinks and dinner snacks (optional) 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN SAINT LOUIS
DAY TWO – Thursday, August 5
Depart Saint Louis at 8:30 a.m. Arrive at the Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills Hotel in Branson at approximately 1:00 p.m.
“Jesus” at Sight and Sound Theatres 3:30 p.m.
The SIX Show - 8:00 p.m.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN BRANSON
DAY THREE – Friday, August 6
Doug Gabriel 10:00 a.m.
Lunch and Shopping at Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo River 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Branson Auto and Farm Museum 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show 5:30 p.m.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN BRANSON
DAY FOUR – Saturday, August 7
Depart Branson at 11:00 a.m.
Lunch at Lambert’s “Throwed Roll” Café in Ozark, Missouri.
Arrive in Springfield, Illinois at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel at approximately 7:00 p.m.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN SPRINGFIELD
DAY FIVE – Sunday, August 8
Depart Springfield at 8:15 a.m. and arrive in Peoria, Illinois at 10:00 a.m.
WELS Worship Service at Living Hope Lutheran Church (10:30 a.m. Worship Service).
Lunch in Peoria following Church, possibly at The 50’s Diner
Arrive HOME! Kingston, Wisconsin at approximately 6:00 p.m.
